What is the GRVT's Insurance Fund?
What is the GRVT's Insurance Fund?
Updated this week

When GRVT clients trade leveraged instruments like Perpetual contracts they risk losing more on adverse price moves than amount of funds they hold on their account.
In order to ensure that winners are fully paid in these scenarios GRVT established an Insurance Fund.

When a trading account's value falls below Maintenance Margin Requirements the account is liquidated and its balances and positions are transferred to Insurance Fund account. GRVT’s Insurance Fund then closes the positions and retains any remaining profit or loss from the liquidation.
