Bermuda Class M License
GRVT has secured the Class M Digital Asset Business License from the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), becoming the first DEX to achieve regulatory approval. This "modified" license under the Bermuda Digital Asset Business Act (DABA) enables GRVT to meet pre-operational conditions before launching for select corporate clients.
GRVT plans to upgrade to a Full Class license under DABA, aiming to introduce a fully global institutional-grade perpetuals DEX. Walkers (Bermuda) Ltd. served as lead legal counsel for the process.
This milestone establishes GRVT as the world’s first regulated DEX, setting a global benchmark for secure, compliant DeFi, advancing institutional adoption, and pioneering true CeDeFi.
