What Can I Do on A Business Funding & Trading Account?
Updated over a year ago

Funding Account

The Funding Account is the primary account created when you sign up on GRVT. It manages overall fund management (deposits, withdrawals, and transfers).

The Funding Account is used to execute the following actions:

Action

Details

Deposit

You can deposit from any L1 Ethereum wallet

Withdrawal

You must first register the designated L1 wallet. Withdrawals on GRVT are only allowed to pre-approved wallets to prevent sending funds to unauthorized addresses.

External Transfers

You can make external transfers to other GRVT accounts on the GRVT network with zero gas fees. Before doing so, you will need to whitelist the account for transfers.

Internal Transfers

You can make internal transfers from your Funding Account to corresponding Trading Accounts.

Note: Only funding Admins on a Business Account can sign off on all the above actions. Other Funding Account account users need specific permissions, e.g. "Withdraw", "External Transfer", and "Internal Transfer" or a combination as the case may be.

Trading Account

Within the Funding Account, Trading Accounts can be created โ€” each operating independently in terms of equity, balance, margin, positions, and API keys. Admins of the Funding Account can create Trading Accounts as part of the same Business Account. Funding Admins have access to all accounts and can manage permissions and access levels.

A Trading Account is used to execute the following actions:

Trade
