What are the different roles and permissions on a Business trading account?

There are three roles that can execute actions on a Business trading account. Only those with an Admin role are able to assign roles. Different roles come with different permissions as shown on the following table.

Role

Permissions

Trading Account Admin

  • Can add users to their Trading Accounts

  • Can supersede all permissions for the given Trading Account, based on the multi-signature threshold

Note: The Main Admin also has admin access to all Trading Accounts.

Trader

  • Can trade from the given Trading Account

Transfer

  • Can internally transfer funds to Funding Account or other Trading Accounts within the same Business Account

The following diagram shows how different Business Accounts can have different permission combinations. Note that a member can have different roles across different Trading Accounts as shown by the highlighted users below.
