Why certain crypto wallets may be restricted
At GRVT, we are committed to providing a secure and compliant platform for users worldwide. To support this goal, we work closely with trusted compliance partners to monitor and review crypto wallets.. This process helps us identify wallets potentially associated with restricted activities or entities under global regulatory standards, such as ransomware, malware, sanctions, and other high-risk activities flagged by international authorities, including the UN, EU, UK, US, and others.
Understanding wallet restrictions
In some cases, restrictions are applied because a wallet’s transaction history contains links—even if minimal—to addresses associated with restricted or high-risk activities. Often, users are unaware of these associations, as transactions can pass through various intermediaries before reaching our platform. However, to maintain regulatory alignment, GRVT must restrict wallets flagged by compliance partners.
We understand that this situation can be unexpected, especially for users who haven’t directly interacted with restricted entities.
What you can do if your wallet is affected
If you’re unable to use a specific crypto wallet on GRVT, you may wish to add a different wallet address. Alternatively, if you believe there has been an error, please reach out to our support team at [email protected]. We’re here to review each case individually and provide guidance on the best next steps.
Your funds and GRVT policies
Please note that GRVT does not have access to customer funds and cannot seize assets. While certain wallets may face restrictions on our platform due to compliance measures, all users retain full control of their funds and can transfer them to approved wallets. In certain cases, accounts may be placed in “close-only” mode, limiting specific activities on our platform but ensuring access to your assets.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to maintain a secure and compliant environment for all users.
Thank you for your cooperation.
