What are Vaults?

Updated this week

GRVT Vaults are structured, on-chain trading accounts that allow investors to allocate capital into active trading strategies managed by vault managers.

For Investors

Invest in managed trading strategies without needing to trade yourself.

With GRVT Vaults, investors gain simplified access to curated and managed strategies and a transparent ownership structure.

  1. Shares Represent Ownership: When you invest USDT into a vault, you receive shares that represent your proportional claim on the vault’s total assets.

  2. Transparent Returns: Share price reflects the real-time valuation of the vault. Your portfolio updates in sync with the vault’s performance.

  3. Redemption Queue Mechanics:

    1. Redemption requests are queued and prioritized using a hybrid FIFO and size-based model.

    2. Redemptions are only processed after the minimum redemption period passes, offering fairness and protection.

    3. Investors share in losses—but not gains—during the redemption window, discouraging speculative cycles.

For Vault Managers

Focus on strategy. Let GRVT handle redemption, infrastructure, and compliance.

Vault managers on GRVT gain a turnkey solution to operate and monetize their trading strategies.

  1. Quick Setup: Create a vault directly via the UI with a minimum $10,000 investment (Prime) or $100 (Launchpad).

  2. Automated Redemption Handling:

    1. Redemptions are automatically triggered when safe thresholds are met.

    2. Forced redemptions occur if requests go unaddressed for too long.

    3. Managers don’t manually approve requests, they only need to size down positions.

  3. Monetize Performance:

    1. Charge management and performance fees, both of which are automatically calculated and paid.

    2. Optionally allocate marketing fees to GRVT in exchange for vault promotion.

    3. Redistribute GRVT reward points earned by the vault to attract and retain capital.

    4. Built-in Risk Controls: Vaults are subject to platform-wide leverage caps (5x) and safety parameters to ensure investor protection.
