How to Recover Your Privy Wallet

If you are using Grvt wallet powered by Privy, at any time, you can export your private key or seed phrase from Privy and import it into an external wallet — giving you full, independent access to your funds.

Step 1 · Go to Privy Home | A hub for all your wallets and log in

Visit Privy Home | A hub for all your wallets and enter the email address connected to your GRVT account.

Step 2 · Navigate to My Apps and select GRVT

After logging in, click My Apps in the left sidebar. Select the GRVT app (not GRVT-testnet).

Step 3 · Click "Export keys"

On the GRVT app page, click the Export keys button in the top right corner.

Step 4 · Re-authenticate with your GRVT credentials

A new window will open asking you to log in to GRVT to verify your identity. Use the same email or login method (Google / Apple) as your GRVT account.

Step 5 · Click "Export" next to your wallet

You will see your GRVT embedded wallet listed. Click the Export button on the right.

Step 6 · Copy your Private Key

Click the Copy key to copy your private key to the clipboard.

⚠️ Never share your private key or seed phrase with anyone, including GRVT support staff.

Step 7 · Open MetaMask → Accounts → Add wallet

Open MetaMask. Go to the Accounts list and click Add wallet at the bottom.

Step 8 · Select "Import an account"

From the Add wallet menu, select Import an account.

Step 9 · Paste your private key and click Import

Paste the private key you copied from Privy into the field and click Import.

Step 10 · Your funds are now accessible

The imported account will appear in MetaMask with your balance. You can now transfer the funds to any address you prefer.
