GRVT Wallet: what are backup codes?
GRVT Wallet: what are backup codes?
Updated over a week ago

Backup codes are for GRVT Wallet users to recover access to their wallet in case you are locked out of your account or you have lost your credentials (registered passkey devices linked to your GRVT Wallet).

A backup code is made up of two components:

  1. Backup ID

  2. Secret

If you lose access to your passkeys, you can restore access to your GRVT Wallet using your backup ID and secret. Note that GRVT cannot access the secret to your backup code. As such, you are advised to store your backup code in a secure location as they will not be displayed again after generating one.
