Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication on a New Device

When you initially set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you were prompted to save a 16-character recovery code and a corresponding QR code. These can be used to configure 2FA on a new device. By installing an Authenticator app on your new phone or tablet, you can scan your saved QR code or enter the recovery code to regain access to your GRVT account. Please follow the steps below to complete this process:

  1. Retrieve Your Backup Code: Locate the backup code you saved when setting up 2FA on your previous device. This document contains the recovery key you need to restore 2FA on your new Authenticator app.

  2. Add GRVT to Your Authenticator App: Open your Authenticator app and add a new account for GRVT. You can do this by either manually entering the 16-character recovery key or scanning the saved QR code with the app.

  3. Continue Using Your GRVT Account: Once set up, you can access your GRVT account by entering the 6-digit code generated by your Authenticator app.

If you have already performed a time sync on your device, and are unable to find your 2FA backup code, you will need to contact GRVT support at [email protected].
